Penny's, Boots, Lush and more... Haul!!

Hi Guys,

I picked up a few things over a week or two and thought I'd share them with you as I got one or two things on sale :)

I went to Lush and picked up 3 robot bath things and a rocket one can not for the life of me think of what they are( sorry ) I got 2 small samples aswell. The girl was so nice she have my son a big chunk of a bubble bar for free he was so chuffed with it defo going to buy some the next time I'm in there.

I bought a dress in Cleary's it was reduced from €50 something maybe less to €20. It's a lovely colorful cut out dres.s. it's missing a button but ill just sew one one :)
The color jeans are from penny's/Primark was gone down to €5.. Bargain! I got the Justin Beiber stuff as part of my little sisters birthday presents can't wait to give them to her:)

Rainy Day Out Fit!!

Hi Guys,

It's an other rainy day in Dublin can't really complain about it, that's just weather for you :) Just home from my dress making class and I'm about to head back out with my son to a play date with his little friend ( indoors of course lol ) just sharing what I wore today minus my umbrella which blow away :( as I am soaking wet so I can't show you what I have on but I found pics of the items I have on me online.

My lil munchkin is well wrapped up and has his Welles on so we can splash in all the big puddles on the way home later :)

Party OOTN!!

Bootcamp Essentials!!

Hi Guys,

I started doing bootcamp this week and boy oh boy did I pick a bad week to start! It has been such a bad week, weather wise in ireland not as bad as the UK. Cold, rain, strong winds and some light snow! Even in the bad heavy rain and snow I was still out doing bootcamp! I must be mad lol

It's so good! The first one I did was a one on one session I thought I was great leaving not a pain anywhere... Till the next day!! I could not move my baby finger I was that sore all over lol it'll all be worth it in the end.

It's an out door bootcamp so with the bad weather it has been a mucky as anything swear I came home today with muck up to my knees! I need to go and get runners with strong grips on them as today It was so slippy I fell and hurt my ankle so ill need some new ones for the next class.

I will be going 3 days a week and walking in between sessions and I'm also getting a diet plan done so that will be a great help!

Jewelry Secret Storage!!

Hi Guys,

I have been looking for all types of storage for me apartment and found some lovely things on line that you might like:) I went to ikea today to get a desk and other things ill do a "Haul" post on that after this one!

Anyways one of the storage items I seen was a cute stand alone mirror with secret storage behind it for all your jewelry. I know this has been around for a while but it's still cool and saves space. I also seen some mirrors that hide shoes they look very stylish and swivel ones!

Lushes Lips In Time For V Day!!

So Valentines Day is nearly here and lushes lips is one of the things that should be top of your prepping list! Here are some tips to get your lips looking kissable in seconds ;)

Step One Get scrubbing:

Get your lip scrub out and scrub away all the unwanted dead lip skin.
Scrubbing your lips not only removes the dead skin but helps to boost blood flow to make your lips appear fuller.
Make your own (sugar+olive oil) or buy some, lush have some lovely cheap scrubs!

Step Two Juice Them Up:

Keep your lips smooth and soft for the best kissable result! Lip balms- vaseline, Bert's Bee's, lip conditioner..!

Step Three Add Some Color:

Last step to complete those lushes kissable lips! Add some lip liner before your lip stick to give your lip stick something to hold on to and last longer. Apply your lipstick to finish off your look and you kiss ready.... Mwah ;)

What's In My Bag!!

I'm just back from the park with my son and thought I'd do a quick blog post and the first one that came to mine was a what's in my bag! I love watching these on YouTube. I did one of these a good while back so thought it was time to do an updated one.

Most days I don't usually carry a bag with me, I just put my keys, money and phone in a pocket an I'm ready. On days where I'm heading out to the park or town ill bring one (most of the time) with me to hold extra stuff.

Not So Obvious Valentines Decor!!

Hi Guys,

So with the Christmas tree gone and all the decorations down I bet you thinking that your house is looking bare?! So am I:(

Sooo.... With valentines day being the next "Holiday" coming up I thought that for the first time ever I would decorate my apartment in a valentine/love theme but with absolute NO PINK and maybe a bit of red!! It's a challenge as ALL valentines day related items are nearly always red or pink!

I have found on line and are all in Next. I never really looked in Next for anything other than clothes for my son, but I'm now loving their home ware department! Everything is so good they do everything from beds right down to candle holders!

The items that I picked out aren't flashy in your face things. They would blend in to any home with most decors that people would have. When looking these things up I kept in mind that I live in a rented place so I couldn't really get things to nail or stick to walls, so most things I picked where things that can easily be moved around and never leave marks on walls or furniture! Things like cushions, towels, frames, cake stands... :)

River Island Spring Preview!!

Hi Guys,

I was on the River Island app today looking for things for my son I seen that they have their spring collection out! They haven't got a lot on it yet but some of the stuff is really nice, it does look a lot like the stuff they had in at Christmas as in the style of the t shirts and similar designs but its still a great collection.

I love River Island for boys clothes. I think they are great quality and are a decent price for what you get. Can't wait to see the summer collection and start shopping for sunny days ( if we get any ).

New Years Resolutions!!2013!!

Hi Guys,

I think this is the first year that my resolutions don't have anything in them that begin with ' I'm going to GIVE UP...????' :) I'm feed up giving up things! I have given up eating crapy foods, drinking fizzy drinks etc... So this year I am TAKING UP a few things and I'm so happy :D

Number 1- I'm going to be more positive each and every day ( if I can ).

Number 2- Take back up jogging, I miss it so much :(

Number 3- Do more exciting things either with my son or my friends:)

Last but not least...

Number 4- Be happy with my self! Smile at myself in the mirror, learn to love ME!!
And that's my biggest resolution and maybe the only one that I really really want to stick to!

Go ahead and share yours because once you say them out loud you know you have a better chance of sticking with them! :)

Sleek Lipstick!!

Hi Guys,

I have been lusting after Sleek make up ever since I seen the Sam and Nic use the palettes on their YouTube channel (pixiwoo). I did buy some sleek make up in Liverpool when I was there last year but never got a chance to use any of it as it was all thrown out by mistake :( boo hoo!!

Anyways... I received my December glossy box last week it was super late! I got a sleek lipstick in the shade Cherry. I didn't like the look of it at the start as I don't wear lipstick and with it being a dark shade I wasn't to gone on it... But that all changed when I tried it on!! Holy jammie doggers! I'm in love with it, it hasn't been off my lips since lol everyone says its a great shade and suits me so I love it even more :)

It's a great shade for winter/fall times as the vampy looks/colours are in. Its a great moisturising and creamy lipstick great for those winter days when your lips tend to chap up. Goes well with pale skin I didn't think it would but it looks fab. You don't need to apply 3-4 coats to build up the colour as it comes out the same on your lips as in the bullet. Only thing is it doesn't stay on the lips to long ( well mine anyway ) but other than that an absolute perfect lipstick.

Not very good pics sorry was late doing post today, colour on lips is more of a dark berry with a sheen a lot nicer in person then in pics:)

Urban Decay All Nighter Review!!

Hi Guys,

So today I thought I'd do a review on the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
On the bottle it says your make up wont budge for 16hours and keeps your make up looking like its just been done and keeps your face looking fresh!

I can tell you hands down that this setting spray WORKS!! Oh my word does it work! So... I sprayed this on my face before and after my foundation and when my powder and eyes and lips where all done. I went to bed I didn't wash my face as I was a bit tipsy and woke up the next morning well.. 3 hours later lol and my make up was still perfect!!! Even my eye liner was still on, I was soo impressed! Still am lol :)

I got this spray for my aunts wedding to save time doing my make up over and over again! It's great for going out every now and again but not for everyday use as it does contain SD Alcohol which can cause irritation to the skin and with my skin I wouldn't chance using it everyday but only on special nights out or weddings or party's.

Red Herring Bags!!

Hi Guys,

Yet again an other penny's bag has broken on me! I really need to stop relying on cheap bags. I love love love penny's clothes, shoes, home wares just everything that penny's sells I love.... But maybe it's time to spend my money on good bags that will last!

So the other day in town ( I'm in town nearly everyday!lol ) I was in Debenhams and I seem that they had a huge selection of bags on sale. I picked up to Red Herring bags that were reduced in the sale !

The small black cross body bag with the swallows on was €30 or €40 gone down to €19.50.

The bigger black tote style bag was €60-€80 gone down to €43.??.

Penny's/Primark Haul!!

Hi Guys,

I got my self a few things today in town in penny's. I had a big clear out of old, worn and out of shape clothes so I went to penny's to replace some of the things I had thrown out. I still need to get a few more things but they can wait a week or two or knowing me a few months lol I hate buying myself things I'd rather buy things for my son or flat or even just save it or pay off a bill!

I picked to two long sleeve tops and two pairs of socks for me son as well!

Eyelash Horror!!

Hi Guys,

Today when I woke up half of my individual lashes had fallen off and taken my own lashes with them! I rang up a friend of mine and asked how I could get the rest of then off easy. So I got into the shower to let the steam loosen the glue a bit, after the shower I rubbed some baby oil on to my lashes also to help loosen the glue.

It did help a small bit but they took half my lashes off with them!!

Everyone told me not to get them done as my lashes are already long and I didn't need to thicken them up but I still went and got them. Oh how I wish I listen to everyone now lol ah sure no point in crying over lost lashes lol they were lovely lashes when I got them done well the ones that didn't blow away with the wind or fall out!
I think from now on ill just stick with using the strip lashes or just curl mine and plaster them with mascara haha
