Pearl Lowe April Glossy Box!!

Hi Guys,

So it took my glossy box 2 weeks maybe a little over that to get to me from when I revived my dispatch email!! It's now the 30th of April I got my box YESTERDAY and TODAY I get an email saying that TOMORROW I will be charged for my May box!! I know that people in Ireland reciebe their boxes a bit later then the UK's but come one that late plus having to pay for next months one already!!

When I seen the big PR thing that glossybox did with Essie nail varnish I was super excited to get my box then when all the UK bloggers and You Tubers where doing their reviews and had Sleek and Illamasqua Full sized products ( if i may add ) thought well they got two pretty high end products I might even get one which I would be so happy about!! But sadly no!!!

My box was the worst one ever!! How can glossy box have such hit and miss boxes? Last months box was absolutely fantastic I loved every single thing in the box that made me want this months exclusive box which I thought would have high end products in it. Even if they put one high end full sized product into each box everyone would get one good thing and make everyone happy instead of the same people getting 2 some times 3 high end products!

I have oily skin and all the skin care items in my box are for Dry to Extra Dry skin!! What's the point in filling out a beauty survey if they don't use it!

I do love glossy box but boxes like this makes me want to cancel my order! I just don't get it sometimes!!

Beauty: For Clearer Skin...

Hi Guys,

So the dreaded spots have made a come back with a BANG!! Woke up this morning to 5 spots around my chin and mouth area, two on my forehead, one right bang in the middle of my brows and one on my nose!! Ugh.... I wish my skin was perfect!! 

Anyway I was straight on ,y phone looking for tips to help get clear skin quick and found a handy one that I though I should share with you :) 

You only need two things: A Lemon and Honey!!! Super Easy!

Take half a lemon

Add 3-4 drops of honey on it

Rub lemon on your face ( emphasizing on your trouble areas ) 

Leave for about 5 minutes 

Then wash off with cold water. 

The lemon juice will also help to fade any marks or spots on your skin and the honey will help to keep it moisturized. 

California Beer!!

Hi Guys,

So yesterday I had a child free day for the first time in months and it was so nice, I did miss him like mad but it was nice to have some time out.

I meet up with a friend and we went for some dinner and drinks ( well one for me ) in The Brew Dock pub. It was so nice such a lovely quite place where you can go and have a nice chat great food and no one annoys you. I got a bottle of Dead Pony Club a California Pale Ale which smelled amazing!! It smelled like mangos so tasty to and at just €4 a bottle... Bargain!! The food was amazing and it was out on the table so fast. I got some very tasty chicken wings and chips sooo yummy !! I got a very very delicious chocolate brownie and ice cream for desert it was soo good.

Had a ball out be a while till the next one bit can't wait :))

H&M and Hallands & Barrots Haul!!

Hi Guys,

Hollands & Barrett's have their 1c sale on so it was the perfect time to stock up on some I my vitamins and also a protein shake and cup. It was buy one get one for 1cent, so I got two of each of the vitamins and saved a bundle :) yay!! The smell of the fish oil ones are bad but surprisingly they don't taste bad.

I also picked up some things in H&M which I don't usually shop at but I will be in the future as the stuff is great an so affordable :)) I got two long sleeve light tops and two pairs of leggings. I picked up a cute pair of Aztec leggings and just a simple black pair also just to wear on my walks.

Matches my skin colour perfect as well as the foundation.

Birthday Blogging in StarBucks!!

Good Afternoon People:))

I'm sitting in Star Bucks mooching off their free wifi :) Even though I have free Internet on my phone! Anyways... I have been all over town getting things in for my sons birthday next month, I just needed a rest my poor tiny feet are killing me:(

I still have a lot to get but I have most if the main things in, I started getting party bags and hats in a few weeks ago. If I don't start early getting things in I always forget a few things.

Ill do a proper big birthday haul, with photos of the party bags I will be making and a photo of the party table and birthday decorations too :))

Review: Inglot Lipstick

Inglot Lipstick 412 

Love the sleek black packaging and oh my does it smell YUMMY!! Kinda like berries?? 

Great dark plum shade, great for nights out or a quick dab can look great for bold day time looks also. Cant wait to try out more of there colours.

Very matt finish, long lasting great intense colour on lips.

Doesn't look great on dry lips!! Make sure to scrub lips and moisturize them before applying this lip stick it will look 10 times better that way.

 

Penny's/Primark, Hollands & Barrets and Tesco Haul!!

Hi Guys,

Iv been picking up a few things over the past week or so, I hope you enjoy having a look at what I got:)

Most of the things in penny's where under €5!! I got a few vests (€2) and a hoodie (€12) in penny's to use for workouts and walks. I also picked up a pair of grey jeggings (€5), two head bands (€2), lovely light scarf (€1) and a cute opal ring (€1) and two T-shirts (€5).

I picked up some things in Holland & Barrets. I picked up a roll on thing to help with migraines, Aloe Vera drink thing it's manly to help clear my skin but its great for digestion, Buzz Gum just because it was at the till don't even know if ill use it but hey ho it's good for concentration and improves alertness, I also got some of The Eco Bath muscle & joint pain soak Epsom salt bath soak.

In Tesco I picked up some home things for my bathroom to help store my ear buds and cotton pads.

Last but not least I picked up a 5 birthday candle for my son who turns 5 next month!!!!! Where has the time gone!!

Oh and I also went to the art & hobby shop. I got a small sketch note book, a cool neon hb pencil and a corrector pencil ( I think that's the name) I love to sketch I'm not the best at it but I just love to sit and mess with a piece of paper and a pencil, might add a picture of one of my drawing or something small:))

I'm so sorry for the bad photos but its all I can do with my phone! I am trying to save for a laptop but its a slow and steady progress.

Review: Inglot Lip Paint

Inglot Lip Paint in 63

I love the smell of this paint pot, great packaging so handy for your handbag easy twist off lid.

Great for every day wear and looks so natural on lips. Nice glossy finish, doesn't stay on lips to long.

If using your fingers to apply the gloss it can be pretty tricky and you can end up with gloss under your nails, so it would be alot better if you used a lip brush to apply as it will help a lot.

Nice pinky brown shade great for day wear, not sticky so it wont be sticking to your hair every 2 minutes.

Daily "No Make Up" Look!!

Hi Guys,

I have been mad into my skin the past few weeks trying to get it summer ready and spot free:) I have already posted about my night and morning time skin routines so the last of it would be this! My Daily " No MakeUp" Look and it really is no make up face :)

I have never left my house with out make up on since I start wearing it!! I would never have the confidence to walk out without foundation on but now knowing that its helping my skin I feel a lot better about about not wearing anything on my face.

Now all my daily make up is:

• Concealer
• Mascara
• Lip Balm
• Powder ( only sometimes to hide the shine )

And that's it! And it's so quick, easy and natural looking its great for mammy a in a hurry in the mornings! With the concealer it hides you dark circles and the mascara opens up your eyes to make you look more awake! Even apply some tinted lip balm or some blush to add some color if you look a bit pale like myself:(

Morning Face Routine!!

Hi Guys,

I have change up everything with my skin care to things that suit me and work for my skin! The smallest things I changed have made such a huge difference to my skin.

All I have done is:

• Wear less ( much much less ) make up
• Be more gentle with skin
• Use new clean towel each time and pat dry
• Don't apply spot cream to spots let them pop on their own ( hardest one ever I love squeezing my spots) lol
• Drink more water
• Don't touch face as much

With all this it has helped me so much to where I have gone from having 12 spots down to just one :)) this has worked for me I'm not saying it will for you but you might get a tip or two from it.

So each morning I...

• Wash my face
• Pat dry with new clean towel
• Brush teeth
• Apply face cream and eye cream
• Rub on some lip balm

And that's it! I don't use anything special or anything expensive I just use what works for me whether it be the cheapest of face creams to a €15 face wash. What works for you just stick with it even if people say oh that's cheap it won't work!

Inglot YSM Cream Foundation 

I love this foundation!! Its just such a great foundation!!

Great coverage you can build it up to maximum coverage if needed, blends nicely. 

Great light weight, smooth and long lasting. I applied this for my aunts wedding at 1 in the day and didn't have to be touched up at all.

No bad word to say about it, it will be a permanent staple in my make up bag!

Fantastic foundation I never knew Inglot did such amazing products.

Night Time Face Routine!!

Hi Guys,

For the past week nearly two weeks, I have been easing off on wearing. Foundation because my skin has been breaking out so bad! Iv been trying to give my skin some breathing space so it can clear up:) ill do an updates morning face routine with a daily make up look to show you how little make up I am wearing now.

And I'm pretty happy to say that it's working :)))) Yay!! All my spots have gone and I am actually for the first time in years comfortable leaving my house with out make up on. Mad I know, but ill do anything for clear skin:)

My night time face are routine is:

• Wipe face with a face wipe
• Take off eye make up with remover
• Apply face wash to facial exfoliant sponge
• Rinse face off with warm water
• Trow cold water on to face
• Pat dry with new clean towel
• Brush teeth
• Use lip scrub
• Apply face cream to face and neck
• Apply eye cream
• Put some lip balm on

Then wash my hands and rub in some hand cream.

After all this I would either go to bed or have a cup of tea, normal tea or herbal tea which ever I see first in the press :)

Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer 

Good concealer for covering black bags under your eyes but after a while it can look cakey leaves your eyes looking ugly dirty, patchy and wears off easy. Doesn't look great in natural lighting very cakey and dirty looking.

Sticks to those fine lines around your eyes, so it isn't very forgiving for the older women.

I wouldn't buy again.

Boots, Forever21 and Candy Lab Haul!

Hi Guys,

I went into Boots yesterday just for a sponge and walked out with a few extras, as you do when your in Boots :)

I got some Boots brand face wipes and moisturizer plus a facial exfoliation sponge and some Boots brand eye make up remover. I picked up some toothpaste, deodorant, body wash and shampoo.

Plus... A lot of make up which will be in a different post coming soon:)))

I was in Temple Bar at the sweet shop and took some photos going over and while there.

One of the best cheap mascaras I have ever used.

Love the HUGE wand and the colour payoff is fantastic.

If your in to the caviar nails but don't have the money to fork out on the more higher brands why not try these out.

Only €1.50 in Dealz. Super cheap!!

A full range of different colors that would suit in Winter and Spring/Summer. Iv never tried any of the caviar nails before but I can't wait as I think they are really pretty. Even with just one nail done they are so nice.

March Favourite's!

I can't believe that march is over the months are just flying in! It feels like I was only posting my February Favs yesterday.

This month I went back to a few things that I love:)

Anytime I have been using liquid foundation I have been appling it with a Real techniques brush which are amazing!

Because I was out a few times last month the foundation that I was using was from inglot fantastic foundation one of my faves!

Other products that I have been using are:

• Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

• Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush

• Clean & Clear Morning Energy face wash

• Boots Eye Bright Eye Drops

• Miss Sporty Mascara

• Maybelline Eye Liner

Also a few more things that I have been loving which I didn't add for some reason are

Dropbox! Great for storing photos as I take loads and loads of photos during the day from weird things I see to pics of my son to fun things I see on facebook!

Elizabeth Arden 8hr Cream! Loving this from my glossy box my lips and hands have never been this smooth and soft :)

Pinterest where have you been all my life :) lol it's so addictive it's full of great un things to do from hair to kids party's to DIY's

Review: MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural

MAC Mineralize Skin finish Natural in Medium Plus

I bought this foundation in the air port to use while away i had never used mac foundations before well powder foundations anyway. 

This is such a great foundation! Gives a very Matt finish, with no signs of shimmer anywhere YAY!! 

Great to wear on days where you want a nice amount of coverage without using a heavy foundation, feels silky on the skin, gives a lovely natural finish to it, feel great on skin. 

Gives off good coverage but doesn't sit that well over heavy foundation works alot better on its own. 

Can sometimes look patchy on dry skin as it sticks to the dry patches and doesn't look to nice.

Girls Night and American Sweets!!

Hi Guys,

The other night I met up one of my best friends who I haven't seen in months :( We went out for dinner and drinks ( 7up for me) and she gave me a lovely gift.

SWEETS!!!!! :D

I love sweets! And she got me the best kind of sweets. Old sweets from when I was a tiny tot back in the 80's and American sweets which I love and can't wait to try even more different ones:)

The old sweets we ate between us after dinner I don't haw any photos of them :( sorry but I do have a pic of the American ones for you. I didn't ask we're she got them but I will soon as I know I will be wanting more Yummy's soon.
